Hanging Gardens I saw you last night,
in my dream.

I'm Charlotte. I have 2 books out, The Smallest Island and 21 Circles. I am obsessed with Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, and also I have a turtle named Luisa who I've reared from infancy. I make dolls and dreamcatchers, write songs, and drink apple juice like it's going out of style as if I'm a 5-year-old, even though I'm addicted to Diet Coke. I'm also quite anal about the upkeep of my crayons. I am proud to be Catholic <3

Maybe I'm Back

So I've been a slave to my job and to Tumblr and I haven't really been on deviantART since the spring…I used to be happy or something and I'm trying to get back to that so yeah. Basically 2011 turned out to be shit but I am on my way back, figuring stuff out and whatnot, but I'm gonna be happy. Currently I am applying for a better job and after a year or so, I plan to transfer to a school like SCAD, Sarah Lawrence, or Eugene Lang for creative writing. I'm working on a romance story for a writing contest right now. I might need feedback at some unclear point.

Music is continuing. I am starting a YouTube channel for my music but I am terribly self-conscious about the way I look when I sing…you know, "Exorcist eyes," the works. We'll have to see how that turns out. I'm also starting to make some little dolls again for extra money. They'll be very cute.
